Market is a changing!!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Premier Properties

Well I am happy to post that I am finally seeing a change in our current market conditions. For a while I have heard realtors in the area exclaiming that " I definitely see things picking up", or " the phone is definitely ringing more now". I suspect for a while that was wishful thinking....but I finally see the change! I am getting tons of calls on properties that have been sitting for some time with no calls. I think that the Fall is going to be a busy one!!! Exciting!

I agree with you, and it seems that this "uptick" is occurring everywhere, though perhaps still in the lower end residential.   Most areas are still noting a "flat time" in the luxury segment.

Things are picking up... that is for sure... I just don't know how we are going to sell homes, when so many people are under water they are going to have to stream line the short sale process

Over 2,000 homes sold…..

It really does not matter what the market is doing........there will always be business.  It may take a bit longer to sell but as long as one prices a home to the current market it will sell.  When the market crumbles, so do agents, and you market share increases.

I agree with the short sale process. I can't say enough about how the banks are handling the situation. We are losing buyers by the minute when banks like Countrywide are taking 6 + months to approve and close deals!!
