When school let out for the summer I wrote a blog post about it being a perfect time to get started on a new exercise program. Well, with school starting again it is another chance to start something new . . . .and people are doing it. Nia is the change they are looking for, what about you?
I have Nia classes three times a week in San Jose (in Willow Glen on Lincoln) and we are having fun. Come join us.

Nia is the workout that your body will love. Nia is done in bare feet (you can keep you shoes on if you want) to music.
Nia is a cardio-dance workout that draws upon different movement forms dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts. Using moves and ideas from these different arts allow for the body to be challenged to move in new and creative ways for a fun, energizing workout.
We move as the body was designed to move---that is what helps you feel so great.
The teacher will lead you through moves and you decide whehter to make them BIG or SMALL, LOUD or QUIET. It is up to you----another thing that helps make you feel so great! You decide, it is up to you and what your body senses it needs. Ahhhhh, come feel the joy of Nia.
