Motivational Power Quote

Constant Improvement is a Stepping Stone to Excellence

"Excellent firms don't believe in excellence.

only constant improvement

and constant change."

Tom Peters, management consultant

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Constant improvement is a stepping stone to excellence.

Excellence is a vision of what can be.

The pursuit of excellence takes a commitment to constant improvement and improving with a purpose.

Excellence is the art of being better tomorrow surpassing where we were to today.

To achieve excellence we also have to be willing to change and adjust and to continually to move in the direction of excellence.

The key concept here is constant improvement.  Achieving excellence "yesterday" won't do much for you "tomorrow".  You need to do better tomorrow than you did today.

Lou,

That is a great quote. Constanta improvement will produce excellence - just not a preoccupation with it. :)
