Well it has been a roller coaster ride with the economy that is for sure. Lot's of my clients have seen their ups and their downs. My job has been many times to just be a "coach" to let them know all will eventually adjust! What is incredible to me though is why many buyers are still on the fence at this critical time. The time is NOW to buy something really special at a good value price not months from now when interest rates start to hike and further Federal restrictions for loans are introduced. Grab your piece of paradise now for a great price and don't look back or second think it. You will be so glad you took the plunge. Now more than ever is such a great opportunity to consider investing in real estate. The other day I saw a cute little house priced at under $40,000! I was stunned. It was not a shack either...it was CUTE. Of course my realtorgrrl super powers went on overdrive as the words DEAL flashed in front of my eyes and of course by the afternoon when I checked on it again it was under contract but it made me think that buyers really do have the tiger by the tail right now if they are willing to step up to plate and bat! It will not stay this affordable forever!!!! NOW is the time to buy some GREAT Florida real estate! NOW is the time to buy that waterfront ANYTHING!!!! I have seen some amazing deals out there...and more are available everyday! Waterfront condos for under $300 and $400k...WOW! So buyers get those checkbooks warmed up and let's get down to business! Life is short and Forida beach real estate may not be this affordable in your lifetime again....you don't want to be kicking yourself later DO YOU????
Marie, good advice. Buyers should move before home prices and rates get any higher and waiting may cost them the $8,000 tax credit.

Thank you for your comment as well. Yes smart buyers should MOVE NOW! The $8000 tax credit has been helpful for that for some but just the mere fact that prices are SO LOW should be motivation enough in my view!!!!

I can only hope and pray that congress will get a clue and extend this tax credit. It has been 75% of my business this year.
