Tips for first time homebuyers

By
Real Estate Agent with Edina Realty

  • Choose a realtor that you feel comfortable to work with.  Make sure that he or she is a good listener.  Also, make sure that he or she is knowledgeable about the market and the areas that you're looking at.
  • Get pre-approved, so you know exactly how much home you can afford.
  • Ask your loan officer about first time home buyer's programs.
  • go shop for your dream home with your realtor.
  • Do your homework.  Always ask questions.  The more questions you ask, the less surprises you will have. Be prepared for a successful closing.

These are just a few key considerations that first time home buyers need to keep in mind when shopping   for a new home. If you need more information on first time home buyers' programs, please contact me at 612-616-7542 or 952-927-1156 or e-mail me at noukhaschka@edinarealty.com.
