My sister and I saw this local post....They are currently at WI Humane Society in Milwaukee, and are going to be euthanized tomorrow night if they don't find a new home :-( PLEASE PLEASE Help if you can!! Here is the post:
Freddy is 1.5 and we purchased him from a pet store in Milwaukee when he was 12 weeks old. He is a medium haired black cat with a bit of white on his underside. Named by my oldest daughter for Freddy in the Scooby Gang, Freddy is alert, intelligent, loves to kill bugs for you, will hunt down a mouse in a second. Will allow petting once he gets to know you. Freddy is a talking cat and will meow to communicate. He is four paw declawed.
Franklin is 2.5 and adopted from the Humane Society about five months ago. He is a medium haired black cat as well with significant white splotches on his underside and one on his face. He is a fat cat, loves attention and will follow you around. I think his previous owner must have fed him table food because he tends to sit on his hind legs waiting for scraps to be thrown his way. I never have, though. Franklin also is a vocal cat. He is two paw declawed.
It is good for them to stay together. They are familiar with each other and play. Freddy needs a companion, as he cat plays a lot. Some food and clump litter, feeding and water dishes, treats and catnip, and some toys will be included. Vet numbers will be included. Both cats are current on shots.
I have taken them to the Humane Society but they have deemed them un-adoptable, which I completely disagree with. They hissed at the Humane Society, but we have never, ever had a problem with them biting. We have three kids - 6, 4 and 11 months old - plus we have an unusually large extended family with a huge number of kids. They are good cats and I would not work towards re-homing them like this if they were a threat to anyone.
I need to rehome them by 5:30 tomorrow evening - Tuesday, August 25th or they will be Buddy euthanized. I cannot take them back into our home, due to our child's asthma. Reply to:
