No More Flyers - Text property info to mobile phones!

By
Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services CalBRE#1320997

I just started another way of marketing my listings!  Try it~
Text "House" to 53203
As a real estate agent, I no longer need flyers.  I just hang a ryder on my signs that say "For More Info, Text "House" to 53203" - no more empty flyer boxes!  All my listing information is sent to the potential client's mobile phone. They don't even have to get out of their car! The information can be kept, forwarded or updated at a later time. There is an opt in, opt out feature.  It includes my contact information, information about the house, and even pictures!  Once they opt in, I capture their cell phone number and can send later updates (maybe a price change or open house) or other new listings.  Offer this new way of advertising and your clients will love it!  It is the new way to advertise!

To get this great new way of marketing, check out the web page at www.Text2Success.com
Thanks and I look forward to hearing how this works for you too.

Jill- I love this idea...but looking at the website- this seems pretty expensive. Are you finding it to be cost effective?

I am finding it cheaper than the color flyers I was constantly replacing.  Plus, I have a way to re-connect with a potential client. To me that is a great value.  I never knew who was pulling my flyers from the box before, now I capture their cell phone number and can send later updates.  Of course, they can opt out at any time - no spamming.  That was important to me!

As people join under me, I am paid a residual income, so someday the BIZ company will be paying me! :)

Texts are read, e-mails (spamming) are ignored or forgotten.

Please let me know if you have more questions!

Thanks,

Jill

Sounds like a nice idea -- but seems pricey -- and our color fliers do not cost that much.

It seems expensive if you are looking at it as an additional marketing expense, but if you look at it as a complete replacement of the flyers AND ways to get new clients, then yes, I see it as a nice idea.  I am wondering if the $50/month is per listing, or can you have several and share it with other listings?

Jill,

Thanks for the blog I was searching the internet for a similar service when - my brain said - hey what are you doing? Go to Active Rain there has to be some great blogs on this with user feedback. I just did a text to you. Question: can you add photos in this service?

Yes, you can use www.Postlets.com (FREE site I use for Craigslist and then copy and paste the mini ad for my keyword text ad)  This will add the flyer (a link)  with pictures to the text...Try it on my newest listing to see how it works!

TEXT "Housewarmer"  to 53203

You are starting to see this everywhere.  I am checking in to a different service that is cheaper.  I will let you know what I learn when I meet with them on Monday.  After a listing sells, I move the keyword to another listing and change the response in my back office (done on the computer) with the company.  I currently have 5 keywords reserved, but usually only have 1-2 listing that are active at a time.
