You went down to my old stomping grounds. My hometown of Kingsville is just 45 miles away. I went to the Texas State Aquarium a couple of weeks after it opened but have not been back yet.

Hi Russel, one good thing that they did was expand the stingray pool. It used to be about 2 x 8, and now it is at least 20 x 12 and the rays come to you if they want to be petted. They had some adorable baby rays in there too, they were a little timid though. Only the bigger ones would come by to let you pet them.
