Every 3rd Saturday in September San Diego Woodies hosts the world's largest Wood Car show at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. This year will mark the 30th anniversary of Wavecrest and they are expecting between 250 and 300 wooden cars to pack the parking lot.
The event is on September 19th, 2009 and runs from 8 am to 3 pm. There will be food and entertainment as well as a raffle. This is a great family event and will also feature vintage surfboards. The Wavecrest Woodie Meet is a free event and it is a wonderful time to enjoy our perfect Southern California weather.
