The owner (seen in the shadows above) has two rules:  Artists who display must used "recycled" materials and she has the right to place the piece any place, any angle, anywhere she wants.

Fair enough -- she knows her art.

Cannibals in Portland (NW Portland) is not for the faint of heart.  You have to have a very open mind to appreciate this type of art.  It's unique, one-of-a-kind, and anyone who visits Portland, and loves art, should make a trip to Cannibals, because it IS a trip!

The walls are full of adventure.  The floors have things that sparkle, glow, spin, and flash.

Everywhere you look is a unique creation: a pill box hat, a post card made of recycled match boxes, bead work, Cannibals has a way with . . . art!

This is the kind of place that you visit, and you leave in awe.  The photos can't depict the wonders you'll find.

Some people might look at this and say it's a bunch of GARBAGE . . . they would be ABSOLUTELY correct!

Remember, owner's rule #1 -- only recyclable materials can be used to make the art pieces.
