Do you Have A Will? Local Attny Will Prepare for $125

I have recently met a wonderful Austin attorney who is preparing wills for $125 each.  What a deal!  She is wonderful and located in downtown Austin.  If you are in need of a will give Susan Haney a call at 512-476-2212.

A letter from Susan -

We had such a terrific response to our offer to draw up estate planning documents for $125 per person (for you couples who have been married awhile, you are still two people!) that we are sending the offer again!  So many people told us that having a will had been on their "to do" list forever but they didn't know where to start until they received my email.  We make the process fast and easy - absolutely painless - and affordable.  You have the input of an experienced attorney to guide you through the process.   Do you have a Last Will and Testament?  If not, you need one - for many reasons, the most important of which is it keeps your probate costs very low and makes sure that your property goes to the persons or entities you want to receive it.  If you have minor children, it allows you to designate who you want to be their guardian.   I am offering to prepare a simple estate planning package for $125.00 to all my friends and clients.  Please send this email to all of your friends and co-workers.  The need is great!      The estate planning package will include a simple Last Will and Testament, a Durable Health Care Power of Attorney, a Living Will, and an Advance Designation of Guardian.  By "simple" Last Will and Testament, I mean that you must not have a net worth of more than $1 million if you are single or $2 million if you are married.  However, if you do have a large estate and need a referral to an estate planning attorney who can minimize your estate taxes, I can provide the referral as well (at no charge, of course).   If you are recently divorced, widowed or re-married, you need to update your will.  If your children are minors or adults but not yet mature enough to manage an inheritance, you need a trust set up to protect their inheritance.    A durable health care power of attorney designates who you want to make health care decisions in the event you are unable to do so.  A durable health care power of attorney is especially important if you are single or if your children may disagree with each other or your spouse as to such decisions.    I am making this offer for several reasons - I believe that everyone should have a will that is prepared by an attorney so that you can feel secure that it has been prepared and executed correctly.  I also believe that wills should be affordable so that families can have peace of mind. And in my 20 years of practice, I have seen what dying without a will can do to the survivors in terms of problems and the costs of probating an estate where no will was executed.  No one is too young for a will.  My own father died unexpectedly at the age of 37, leaving no will.   If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call my office to schedule a telephone appointment with me.  This appointment will take approximately 20 minutes where we will discuss how you want your property devised and the names and addresses of your beneficiaries and designated agents.  The documents will be sent to you for final review and revisions.  Then we will make an appointment with you to come in to properly execute the will before two witnesses and a notary.  This second appointment will take about 30 minutes.    I hope you will take advantage of this limited opportunity and call my office to set up your telephone appointment right away.   Susan J. Crystal, that's a great service that Susan is providing. It's even better for you to post the offer for her because so many people out there have no plan for themselves were somthing bad to happen to them. Leaving it up to the state is no option either. Nice post.
