I've been Memed!!!!

Hmmm, so I've been memed.  Thanks Caron.

It's hard to think of 5 things about myself that many would not know.  I am a very open person.

Okay,

  1. I am a Bronze Level USBC Bowling Coach.  I went to school to learn how to teach people to bowl.  I love working with the kids that want to learn to bowl.
  2. I love to fish and camp.  I will not eat fish or anything from the water, except tuna fish (-:
  3. My favorite pass time is hanging out with my grandbaby, Lexy.
  4. I have a 20*40 in ground pool that I turned into a Goldfish and Frog Pond.  I started with 5 fish, now I have hundreds.
  5. My favorite flower is the "Rose."  I love all roses and grow many.

Per Caron Mosey: A meme is where you tell 5 things about yourself that (most) people wouldn't know.  Read mine at http://activerain.com/blogsview/119416/I-ve-been-Memed

Then create a new blog post and tell those 5 things.  Then pick 5 people who have blogs and do the same thing I did to you - invite them to write 5 things about themselves!

Nice to meet you Angie! That's pretty cool that you're a bowling coach. I went to UCLA where we tried starting up a bowling team.

Bowling is the best Angie and working with kids is awesome.  I spend most of my free time coaching kids also.  I coach mostly soccer but I am also a certified special olympics bowling, speed skating and softball coach.  I currently bowl on a friday night league and carry a 215 average.  I shot my first 300 game 3 weeks ago.  I love coaching the kids though.  There's nothing like seeing the impact you can make on a kids life through sports.

CONGRATULATIONS! A perfect game is awesome.  What did you do to be certified with specials olympics bowling?

I took level 1, level 2 and Bronze level classes.  What else would I have to do?

It's pretty much getting involved with Special Olympics.  Showing them that you know what your doing and then waiting while they do your background check. The background check can take a while though. It's just seeing the looks on those kids faces that make everything worth doing.  They never get mad, they always try their best and they do it with a smile on their face.  It always brings me to tears to see how happy they are.
