Just Listed! Just Sold!

Here in Bolton and Caledon, we are definitely experiencing a Seller's Market!  With homes lasting only hours, it's mind boggling that we don't have more homes listed for sale in Bolton!

I listed a house on Monday evening and it was sold the following day.  The amount of inquiries is staggering!  On a daily basis, I have received calls from an average of 10 agents and even more buyers inquiring about the listing!  Yesterday, I had a total of 27 inquiries! My BBerry hasn't stopped buzzing and by 2:00 p.m. yesterday, the battery died!

So where are the Sellers?  Why are they reluctant to sell in this market?  It's a fantastic time to sell your home and interest rates are still reasonable!  The "gap" doesn't seem to be narrowing between sellers and buyers and supply and demand are definitely in the Sellers favour.  Lasting only days, and in some cases hours, it's the perfect time to sell your home!

WOW...... makes me think you are living in 2006, not 2009. Hope it stays that way for you. Our market is really much tougher, though getting better.

Hi Melanie,

I'm seeing this at certain price points...properties are contingent within hours of being listed.  Most of those are under $200,000 which in our market is a bargain.  Anything above $300,000 however can languish.

Hope this continues for you!  Keep your BB plugged in!
