"FREE" Web & Marketing TOOLS THAT WON'T BREAK THE BANK

By
Real Estate Agent with Solid Source Realty

In recent weeks I have had many people contact me inquiring about any "FREE TOOLS" that are out in the market place that I would recommend. While I use many marketing tools and avenues that are not free, I do believe in maximizing your resources and your budget.  So I have compiled a list of many of the "FREE" tools that I have utilized either in the past or currently to share with you all.  I hope you find these useful! and best of all they won't break your "Piggy Bank"

http://www.pdfonline.com/

(This fabulous tool converts just about any document type to a PDF file for FREE and sends it to your email within seconds)

http://www.coolarchive.com/

(This tool has an awesome Free Button generator, Free logo generator, and tons of other free icons and web tools) An example of one of the button's I created with this tool is in my blog: http://activerain.com/blogsview/121388/Georgia-Property-Tax-Rates

http://www.freedigitalphotos.net/

(Free small version stock photos (great for web sites and blogs).  You can get the larger photo's for a small fee if you wish to purchase a much larger copy. Renee Burrows Las Vegas, Nevada Real Estate actually shared this site, so I can not take credit for this one ;)

http://www.flyinside.com/

(Free Virtual Tour options, the free version is sufficient, but you may upgrade to get additional add-on's if you like)

http://imageshack.us/

(Free Image hosting, and you do not have to sign up for an account)

http://www.fileden.xom/

(Free online file storage, I use this to upload files, fliers, brochures, and other content and link it into my blog posts for people to download the articles if they wish) See my example in my blog by clicking on the "Download Article Button" once inside here http://activerain.com/blogsview/121388/Georgia-Property-Tax-Rates

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/lookup.htm

(Free Website Content/Webmaster Tools)

http://www.point2agent.com/

(Free Real Estate Website, with no hosting charges, or set up fee's for the standard package.  Most people are already utilizing one of these sites, and they are fabulous for being FREE)

http://spiderweblogic.com/Html-Tag-Generator.aspx

(Free HTML Tag Generator, convert basic text to HTML for your blogs etc.  This is very basic, but it does the trick if you do not have any programs on your computer capable of this)

http://www.sawitonline.com/

(Free Listing Enhancer for Craigslist and similar sites)

http://www.postlets.com/

(Free listing Enhancer for Craigslist and similar sites)

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/FX100595491033.aspx

(Free Newsletter Templates, Powerpoint Templates, and a ton of other helpful templates.

(Free Real Estate Marketing Flyer Creation)

http://www.webuildpages.com/tools/

(Free Internet Marketing and SEO Tools)

http://www.freesitedesigner.com/

(Free Website Designer, and the templates are pretty attractive from a marketing perspective.  I am using this tool to build a secondary feed in website that I have)

(Free version of a fabulous online survey software, a great tool to use to poll your current customer base and SOI.)

Amber - great list.  Recently I shared in one of my office meetings that I search the internet for free tools...the other agents looked amazed that I even thought of such a thing!

Amber, that you very much.  This is a list that I can diffinately use.  I already went to the newsletter site.  It is really good.  Which ones do you use mostly?

Has anyone in here used these?  If so, which ones and how did they work for you?  Which ones did you like the most?  I could really use the help.  Money isn't flowing like I would like and I can use all the help possible.  I am sure we can all use a hand.  Thanks for the post.  I look forward to reading more.  Earl "The Pearl" Sorrells

Thanks for the list, I will check them out.  I can say I use Point2 for my website, I have the upgraded version but the free version offers alot of options and then if you want to upgrade you can do so and everything is preserved so you don't have to start over.  Check it out here

Dan-Thanks, and you are quite welcome as I am always happy to share anything that has benefited me in my business!

Earlene-Thanks!

Suzanne-Thanks!  And I honestly tend to forget some of these sites if I haven't used them in a while.  So this has been good for me to go back and gather my links as a refresher :)

Cynthia-FREE is great isn't it?!  It's the consumer in all of us always looking for the best deal ;)

Darrel-You are welcome, and I am glad these might help!

Jared-Quite Welcome! Thanks for checking them out.

Troy-Thanks, and I couldn't agree more!  I am constantly learning new things on AR, I just love this place ;)

Scott-Oh I have a ton of great resources that I still pay for that I use that list might take a week to compile :)  Freebies are just great to have as mixer!  Thanks for checking it out!

Joddie-Thanks, and I know what you mean.  I have shared on numerous occasions the tools and technologies that I have found by just doing a simple Google search, and I still get the puzzled looks :)

Earl-I do love the real estate newsletter site, but I have currently switched to using Mail Chimp, as I love the customization of my designs.  It is a pay site, but the most reasonable out there in my opinion.  I am glad this post was beneficial for you ;)

Linda-You are quite welcome!  I love my point2 sites as well.  I actually have two of them, one of which is the Free Version Forsyth Fine Living, and the other that I upgraded to the Professional Version Picture Atlanta Sold.  Both work wonders and I have nothing but fabulous things to say about them.  Your site is great as well thank you for sharing it ;)
