Do you have time for Active Rain?

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Complete Realty, LLC

I can't imagine not making the time for Active Rain.  Peers say to me, "I don't have time to blog.  Why don't you just work."  hahaha, I make blogging part of my day.

Sharing ideas, experiences, rants and emotions is the best networking I could be a part of.  Not to mention the "Free Advertising".  Blogging is just plain fun!

I wrote up on offer tonight with a client that said, I knew you were in real estate.  I Googled Angie Ridley then was able to send an email.  Well, the email came from him locating me because of Active Rain.

Thank you Rainers!!!

I think you're post is right on.  I hear the same stuff, "Don't have time...." But I can tell you this, in OUR market, I KNOW they have time to blog!  They always have time to e-mail jokes, etc., so I think this would be much more productive.

I think participation in AR is great.  I have enjoyed the experience.  While I am confident as a buyer's agent -- I have a lot to learn about blogging.  I have met so many people here and am enjoying the experience.

It has been apart of my routine since last October.  I can't imagine not having AR in my life.  So many good things about it.

Let them keep thinking that! I am now getting 2-3 leads a week from Active Rain and it is fine that they think they don't have time to blog and are happy with their 1-2 leads a month!

I am just getting going in the world of Active Rain. I have had a Blog on Tecnocrati for almost a year and had almost no interest from anyone "out there". My first Active Rain post the night before last had 12 comments and welcome messages by morning. Simply amazing. Thank you, yes Active Rain is worth the time.
