Tip 20..

DO YOU FEEL LOCKED IN?
Once you start succeeding in your brokerage or practice try not to get locked in. You will tend to lock into your process and stick with it. This is only natural and usually the most intelligent tack to take. However, the trap is in order to keep growing you need new ideas. Sooner or later your market will change and the dynamics of your process will need to evolve. It’s difficult to do it alone since you tend to see things the way they have always worked for you. But in order to grow you must find ways of looking at things differently and of doing things in new ways.  Artists are always looking for new ways to broaden their horizons. Why should you be any different? Read others views. Find someone to work with, share ideas with. Preferably someone who is skilled and knows the problems you are facing. Who may, in fact, know problems you are facing that you don’t see.

QUOTE FOR TODAY
“Buying something on sale is a very special feeling. In fact the less I pay for something the more it is worth to me. I have a dress that I paid so little for that I am afraid to wear it. I could spill something on it and then how would I replace it?”
Rita Rudner, Comedian

That's what's so great about ActiveRain!  I find it inspiring to read about other agent's issues, problems, perspectives, view points, etc.  I learn so much in the process, contribute when I can and best of all, am forced to think outside my routine or comfort zone.
