"33 Million People in the Room" Meets KW Associates in the Resource Lounge Weekly

For the past 9 weeks, "33 Million People in the Room" (by Juliette Powell) Book Club Members have been sharing their thoughts, strategies and opinions of social media in the library-like setting of this Keller Williams Office's Agent Resource Lounge complete with bookshelves, comfortable couches and soft lamp lighting. "All we need now is a coffee bar," said the members. This tightly bonded group has discussed the impact social media is making on their business right now and guessing where it will be 6 months from now, how we can become the local economist real estate resource for our clients through social media and how we too might become "microcelebrities" in our profession. (You'll have to read the book to understand that one.)

I have been following your latest posts Joelle and was inspired by your idea of having a book club of 33 million people in the room. I've heard of this book and wished I had it already. I am heading out to Barnes and Noble and getting it today. You ladies are so lucky you have the synergy of shared opinions. Keep it going. I'll have to suggest the book club for our Barrington KW office.

Having a book club with a shorter book on an interesting topic certainly doesn't hurt the success of such. We were all quite inspired by Juliette Powell and actually started reading the book prior to Mega Tech Camp. It was a wonderful surprise to get to listen to her at Mega Tech, and I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to sit right next to her. She is a beautiful person both inside and out. What a great role model!

Joelle: Thanks for suggesting the book on AR ... will have to look into getting it soon! Mentioned to my wife (who is my assistant and helps me with my business) that your office was offering this group opportunity. We both agree it's a fantastic idea and I'm now planning on suggesting our company do something similar to it in our office.
