As inventory builds and the magazines get thicker I'd say they are doing better... Why would the discount with such a large demand for space?

Don't get me wrong, what i mean is that  they are not... The magazines in my office this month are like 25 or 30 pages max.

We stopped advertising in magazines.  They don't work around here anymore.  We used to advertise every single month.  But after months and months of no phone calls on them, we stopped.

I have also heard many other agents around here are also stopping too.  If it worked, we would of kept at it, but we were throwing money out the window every month.

I have heard though from other agents in different states that they are still having luck.  I wish we still had luck here.  When they were working, we got a lit of leads off them.

Times are a changing!

I'm only using one magazine because it lets me put all my listings on their website.  That's really the only reason, I like the extra web exposure.  Other than that, I find that looking through the magazines has become rather tiring so I can only imagine that consumers may feel the same way.

I stopped putting my ads in the magazines long time ago. Instead I do my own newsletter consistently on the first of the month and I know I have readers because I bump into them around town and they tell me about my articles.
