Are you like the ant?

two black ants on a green leaf

"Go to the ant you lazy one and become wise", so said a proverb.  We can take a lesson from the ants, what lesson did you ask?  They are protectors, they are organized, cooperate with one another while working, help one another when tired, instinctively prepare for the future by gathering food at the right time, and they work day and night tirelessly even without supervision. Is that you?

Some of us do work night and day without supervision, we prepare for the future, we try to be organized, we are protectors of our clients in that we protect their interest by making sure contracts, addendums, disclosures are fully executed and are in compliance with the law, so in some ways we are like the ant.

working ants

Wijbren Landman, an insect specialist said "An estimated one million times one billion ants toil on earth's surface, meaning that for every human there are no less than 200,000 ants! NOW, if only that were true of real estate!!

Thanks, Dee.

I think a lot of realtors have ant-like work ethics. What I like most about the colleagues in my office is that we also have the high level of cooperation and mutual assistance you talked about.

Bob,

What a nice thing to say about your colleagues

Monique,

We really can take something away from the work ethics of the ants.  I had no idea the plant was a peonies, thanks.
