Wanda: What absolutely beautiful quilts you folks make. I like them all... but I prefer the last of the four. I really like those colors... I find them much more peaceful. At this time in my life... I need all the peace I can get... LOL. By the way... I have just subscribed to your blog. Take care...
Wanda - What gorgeous quilts! When my children (now grown) were small they went to a small community elementary school. Several times as a present to someone very special to the school each family made a quilt square which was then put together into a large quilt to present to the person for them to remember their time at Free Union Country School. These were definately something to be cherished.
Thanks Vickie- I'm just thankful to be surrounded by fun people.
Karen Anne- Karen is the name of the gal that made the quilt you like! She's much more traditional than I, I'm a bit of a wild woman.
Pam- My Son won a quilt made by the high school home ec teacher, he was thrilled, and all of the other kids were jealous!
Wanda- maybe I have been doing my quilting all wrong- we forgot to bring the wine!
lovely group of gals you got. I post over on myquiltblog.com come find me sometime. cw
Hi Cheryl, I think there should be a wine with a quilt on the label, can I copyright that?
Your group's quilts are gorgeous, Wanda! Do most of you hand or machine quilt?
Hi Dianne, Thanks for the nice compliment! We are sewing machine junkies and then we hire out to have the big ones quilted on a long arm. We are all strapped for time, but highly productive (in our minds at least)
It's great to get together with people you like on a regular basis. And it's okay if you each have different exceptional skills, LOL.
