A Quet Labor Day

By
Real Estate Agent with Laura L. Bieker

So far, I have slept in (unusual for me), worked out (50-50 chance of that being unusual for me), drank coffee, cleared e-mails, read through several blog posts, and am looking at my to-do list.  Typically, a Monday holiday is quiet in our market.  We get calls from folks driving around to an event, who see a sign and want to know the price, but no showings / appointments / contacts usually.

Although it's nice to have a "quiet" day occassionally, sometimes it makes me wonder if tomorrow will be more productive?  I get temporarily panicked about when the phone will ring, or when someone will respond to a message  or e-mail already left.

However, it is a national holiday, and an important one.  My social events were earlier in the weekend, so today is "chore day".  And, yes, the chore that needs to go to the top of the list is to keep the faith, as the phone will ring again!

I hope everyone enjoys this Labor Day, whether it is quiet or active.  We are blesed to have this day!

Laura,

I'm sitting here in my office (opportunity time),watching the traffic back-up as the Labor Day tourists leave for their real lives!  i'm thrilled that I get to stay and lead my life here!

My company left this morning.... they've already called to say that they're turning around and coming back..... they want to move in with me!!!...LOL.... I think!

Happy Labor day!
