Good luck Debby, I did a few of these. Make sure the local press knows about this. I invited the home editor of the local paper and got some nice coverage.

Allerga, Thanks I have contacted the local paper and also all the realtors I know. I hope this helps educate my area with this great marketing tool called Home Staging.

Did you initiate this by asking the library for a venue?  I love the idea, but not quite sure how to go about getting started.

Debby Puckett-(Altitude Designs) "Market Your Home the Smart Way

Lori, I contacted our local library and we live in very small towns around here and asked. She said yes then I got on the local library website and found other branch managers emails and told them what we were doing and they agree to do it at their branches. It worked out in the same week. I had my first one today and it was a success. I did a powerpoint presentation and have  a dollhouse that I put together that has lights and everything, I cluttered it before I went and declutter at the workshop, having them answer the questions from the ppt about my 6 things to do when you stage. They all love it and were actively anwsering and asking questions. I am thinking about seeing if I can hold homeowner workshops once a month at the local library and see if I can get more attention with it, everyone there was selling a house. I also had one realtor show and he interacted with me about staging houses with clients. He was a new contact also which was great.

I made a door prize bag of organizing/staging things that cost approximately $30.00 per workshop that each item somehow had my card on and it will be put in their house. They loved getting a prize. I received their information and asked if they were interested in a consultation, I think it will help get my name out.

Let me know if you get to get this accomplished I think it is a great way to connect to homeowners.

Best of the Day!
