Curb appeal is the first impression of your home when it is being viewed. The exterior of your house’s presentation to the market including landscaping and maintenance is very important especially in today’s market.

A well maintained home on the outside with well-kept landscaping gives people the impression that the home has been well maintained and loved.  In selling your home in today’s market good curb appeal is very important. A well landscaped and cared for exterior leaves buyers with the impression that the property is going to be inviting inside also.  As a matter of fact, it can be a deciding factor in whether or not they even look inside the home.  If potential buyers drive by a home that looks ill-kept or unloved on the outside, they assume it will look that way inside also.

If the landscaping looks bad, neglected or overgrown it leaves the impression the home  is neglected inside also.  Over 85% of buyers begin their search on the internet and many times do a drive by before they even call an agent.  You only get one chance to make a first impression and they are crucial in today’s marketplace.

Make the most of your curb appeal and make the outside inviting to the potential buyer!

Exactly, many sellers don't  understand the outside is just as important as the inside, especially with the internet and photos, typically the first photo they see is the front of the home and first impressions are extremely important when buyers are on the web. A good set of photos is just as important on the web to get buyers to click and view more info. on that property. A well groomed and maintained property on the exterior will get more views and sell for more!
