Maggie the Ficus

maggieMaggie is now 15 years old, she was just a little thing when adopted her, no more than a few inches tall. As you can see by the picture, she has become very sizable, and requires rollers for me to move her around. She loves the morning sunshine, but if she gets too much, her leaves start to fall off.

I used to think she knew when fall was coming, because she would lose a considerable amount of leaves. Now I know that I should water her on a schedule so she doesn't think the dry season is here. I'm not sure how I'm going to find a bigger pot for her that will still fit in the house, but her growth will probably require it soon.

Do you talk to plants?

I haven't yet, but give me a few more crazy buyers and I might start.

Elizabeth,

Prince Charles (I am originally from England so know about these things!) apparently always talks to plants.  So you would be in royal company if you do start LOL  Beautiful plant by the way so keep up the watering

Sharon - Prince Charles does a lot of things that are probably not on my list of things to do. At least he loves his plants.
