Some of you have sent me emails (thank you) asking me to also post the information about International Investments in English as well (Portuguese is coming soon!).
Today's "blog" posting I dedicate to the hundreds of Latin American families that have made a lifetime commitment with Vail and visit every year as part of their family vacation tradition.
Latin families usually visit Vail from the 28th of December until right after "Dia de Reyes" which is January 6 th or during "Semana Santa" which is usually in March or April depending on the calendar year (In 2008 it begins the 2nd week of March).
There has been a long Vail Vacation tradition in my family and my husband's family. I learned how to ski in Vail when I was 8 years old and have been skiing in Vail ever since. For years, my parents and my husband's family, visited Vail for an average of maybe 14 days paying "premium" rates at local hotels and lodges near the lifts. For years, they did not realize that the Vail vacations were not only the most memorable vacations that their families were going to have, but that they were missing out on one of the best investments they could have done at the time. Vail is not only a great vacation BUT is an opportunity to INVEST in your family vacation.
Today, my husband's family own a home in West Vail and my family is investing and developing in the Vail Valley.
If Latin American families today take only a few minutes to analyze their average Vail vacation expenditures, they will soon realize that it makes total financial sense to purchase a "timeshare' or a "fractional ownership", specially now, that Vail, Beaver Creek and Avon are being populated by major resort and hotel conglomerates with so many types of vacation products to offer. My recommendation for these "converted clients" (as I called them) is the Hyatt Mountain Lodge in Beaver Creek, St. James Place in Beaver Creek, the Four Seasons Residence Club in Vail, the Vail Plaza Club in Vail and the Westin Riverfront in Avon. These are all very different products, with very different offerings and price ranges, BUT they are all EXCELLENT properties with different strengths depending on the client's family's scenario.
We are working with local financial institutions that have already financed "timeshares" and "fractional ownerships" for our international clientele. Such financial institutions include: Alpine Bank and 1st Bank of Colorado. We also work with local real estate attorneys and CPA's that can aid in the transaction process and can answer any of your questions. For those that already have properties and real estate investments in the United States, we have been closely working with the 1031 Exchange Experts from Denver, and they have Spanish speaking representatives. They are an excellent source and very professional.
Any questions that you might have regarding investing in Vail and Beaver Creek as an International client, please feel free to call me at anytime or email me and I'll answer them right away. I speak Spanish as well as Portuguese.
