iPhone for this Real Estate Virtual Assistant

Hey...some of you will remember a recent post where I was debating which phone to get...my heart really wanted the iPhone, but I had to justify that my brain would be happy with it as well!  LOL  Well, today I bought it....so slick!

Now that I've got it and it's charging, I have a question for you...

What are your most favorite apps of all time?  Give me the name and a brief description, please.  I already put the Facebook, Twitterlator and the XM app on here...am planning on adding Color Splash next...what are your favorites?  They can be for fun, business, social, etc...anything goes.  Why don't I see an Active Rain app?  <wink, wink>

Thanks!!!

You will love, love, love it once you have got it all figured out. I say this because today my microphone went bust, so I can hear but no one can hear me. I have an appt with a "genius" tomorrow for a repair or replacement. But until then, I am on a teenager's cheap phone. Boy do I miss my iPhone! Plus no fun getting teen text messages :-)

I LOVE MINE so CONGRATS!  My favorite apps are for facebook & college football scores.  I also have the shotgun app just in case someone gets in my way.  I never cease to awe my nerdy family members that adore star wars with the lightsaber app!

Hey Melissa, can you bluetooth it as a bandaid?

Christine, there is an AR app!  Some of my other favorite apps:

  • Sol Free - at first I was hooked on Solitaire, but once I figured out Demon, that's all I play now.
  • To Do's - let's you keep a "to do" list. So rewarding to check off completed items.
  • Urbanspoon - finds restaurants by city, type of food and price range
  • Wireless MLS - lets me pull up some (not all) MLS data; especially helpful if you're driving clients down the street and they ask about one not on your showing list

Enjoy your new toy phone!

Melissa - sorry your iPhone is sick...I'm with Renee...bluetooth it for the mic :-)

Renee - I will have to check out that shotgun app...might amuse the son and hubby!  LOL

Lorrie - Really?  I looked!  What category did you find it in?  Social or ???  That's so cool!

Lorrie I did not know there was an AR app.  AR is friendly with the safari browser but didn't realize there was an app!

The shotgun app does amuse my son and hubby.  So does the lightsaber.  You will have to pull that one out in public, they will get jealous ;)

Jennifer has an I-phone and she plays multi-tasking games on it like: Chocolate Shop Frenzie and Cooking Dash.   While these are not real estate related she claims that 10 minutes of game play inbetween stressful events calms her down and refocuses her.

She also swears that she has gotten smarter, seen an increase in her memory, and can multi-task better in real life due to these games.

Lou - Hey, how are you?  Surprisingly so far...not much of a curve...basic things like learning how to highlight text...that seems to be the only thing that I had a huge issue with!  LOL

Robert - And I almost chickened out at the last minute and bought a Blackberry myself!!!

Christine - I will have to check those games out, thanks!

Hi Christine,

My favorite apps to date are FB, Twitterific, Google Earth, WordPress, Epicurious, and best of all Pandora.  Have fun and let me know what you find because I'm always looking for new apps.

I don't remember the category for the AR app. I think there was a post about it with a link? I've had my iPhone since December, so my memory of it is kind of fuzzy.

Lorrie - I got the app, thanks!  Truthfully, I don't see that it's any different from just going straight to the web page...but maybe I'm missing something.  I've only opened it once so far.

OK everyone...here is my list of apps that I have downloaded so far:

  1. Facebook
  2. Sirius XM
  3. ColorSplash
  4. YouTube (might have come with that one on it)
  5. Flashlight
  6. Active Rain
  7. UrbanSpoon
  8. The iBall
  9. Moron Test (kids wanted it!!!)
  10. iSendMMS
  11. Emoji
  12. TweetDeck for iPhone
