Tribute in Light

The "Tribute in Light" will return for one night as a tribute to all those who were lost on September 11th as well as those who worked so hard to get our City through its greatest trial. The lights will be on for one night on September 11, 2009, beginning at sunset and fading away at dawn on September 12th.

Best wishes. Here in falmouth, one local business places thousands of flags in their lawn around their strip mall every year.

Marjorie, Heath, Jeff and Hugh. Thanks for stopping by. I will never forget that day. The official press release from the Mayor's office says the tribute in lights starts tonight at 7:10 pm until dawn tomorrow but I saw the tribute lights last night. I was showing an apartment downtown at 7:30 and it was truly beautiful. Today and tonight it's rainy, cold and foggy. That awful day 8 years ago was a hot summer like day.

Hi Mitchell... I remember seeing this tribute the first time they shined those lights to heaven.  I was so choked up I couldn't speak (and for me, that's saying something!).
