Special offer

I will now transmit my offer via aerial flares and Morse code

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX 1st Class 0542725

Okay, so I called an agent about 5 hours ago to ask a question and see if there are any other offers currently on their desk.  No reply.

I prepared an offer and submitted it via email.  No can do.  Email bounced back because their email in-box is full.

I fax the offer to them.  No luck.  The fax machine has an error on their end.

And I can hear the seller now, "WHY HAVEN'T WE GOTTEN ANY OFFERS????."

I feel terrible for the sellers of this house.  They have no idea of the lack of effort their agent is putting forth.  I ought to try aerial flares or Morse code next.

I've met some agents this way. I feel your frustration. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day! Good luck.

I hope you don't mind me saying this and of course, it's not to upset you. Who knows if this is not typical for the agent. Maybe he/she had an emergency to tend to? I know we get frustrated but there could be a good reason. Who knows until you find out.

Go to the broker let the broker present it.

I have a blog that allows me to upload documents and then password protect them. That probably would have been my next step if I could not email to the Broker. I would have left a VM with the password to retrieve the docs.

As a broker, I believe that the broker is entitled to know of the conduct of this agent.  If the office is open I would hand carry it there. Good luck.

Brian, I agree with Julie. Hand carry the offer to the office and give it to the broker. Good luck!

Brian - I too would say hand deliver it to the broker, but lately I've been dealing with listing offices that are two hours away.
