This is the responce I resently gave someone to a comment on one of my blogs:

Brace yourself because Feng Shui is going to become one of the leading causes of buyer purchase within the next few years I'd say.

Feng Shui took forever to be taken seriously in the US but now agents must start to take notice and learn the ART of Feng Shui. Now one thing you need to know, Feng Shui is NOT!!!!! staging. You may think it is but your buyers will definitely know the difference. Buyers who are Feng Shui savy will drop you like a hot potato if they see that you don't know your craft. They do not want to purchase an out of balance home. Now what's out of balance for one buyer may not be out of balance for another based on their Feng Shui element.

Feng Shui is a life long study and to many, including myself, being in harmony with your environment is not something to be taken lightly. A property that's locked on people, money or is reversed can create health issues, relationship issues and financial issues in a home. Once you know your client/customer's Feng Shui element it will save you time, money and frustration showing them property that you know they wouldn't even consider because of Feng Shui principles.

I'll be blogging once again on the three most important Feng Shui issues within the next couple of days. I've had great responses in the recent past from my readers on Facebook and Twitter. The topics are:

"Chinese Superstition versus Feng Shui principles, the facts!" - "Staging versus Feng Shui" and my favorite, "How NOT to FEng Shui yourself out of a listing!" which I have done. =0) Look forward to more of your comments!!!! =0)

Shaydie, We enjoy a large Asian population in the Seattle and Kent WA. areas. I have had people turn right around and walk out of a home because of poor Feng Shui. It's very serious to a growing segment of our population and I'm sure your educational posts will be enlightening.

Greg, your comment and contribution is welcomed and appreciated =0)

I remember a situation I encountered a few years back. I had my Lupon and was auditing a home for one of my Asian clients. The listing agent was so frustrated with us and couldn't grasp the seriousness of the situation for the buyers. Needless to say that the agent lost two serious ready willing and able buyers because she thought it was all nonsense. I could understand her frustration as a listing agent, the home was on the market for a LONG! time, but that didn't excuse her rudeness.

Just so you know one of the fastest growing Feng Shui populations growing in America now, next to the Asian community, are Hispanics. I am Hispanic myself and when we grasp onto something amazing, magical and life enriching as Feng Shui there's no turning back. Hispanics in this country are ready to buy homes and I'm not talking about the illegal immigrants. I'm talking serious, hard working, upper middle class/new rich, serious cash mattress money Hispanic clients.

I encourage you to learn this amazing art. I am currently putting together free lessons for ActiveRain agents. The only thing that they will have to purchase is the final certification. I look forward to sharing this with everyone. This is a passion for me because of how I've seen lives change before my very eyes.

There are buyers who specifically seek out Feng Shui agents and trust me they will know the difference between the ones who are properly educated and certified versus the ones who went to Barnes and Noble picked up a book and learned "Quazzy Feng Shui" from a book that was filled with Chinese superstition.

I am helping a couple that believes in Feng Shui, they have been very patient with me, I know nothing about this. I would be interested in your lessons.
