Friday Night at the Movies - Real Estate Agents on the Silver Screen
This was great, had to reblog in case anyone missed it before!
Recently several movies have had real estate agents as characters. It's always fun to see how our profession is portrayed on screen. Here's what I came up with for movies with real estate agents:
I Love You Man (2009) Paul Rudd stars in this movie in his role as a successful real estate agent seeking a best man for his wedding
Revolutionary Road (2008) Kathy Bates plays a real estate agent
Step Brothers (2008) Adam Scott, in his role as Will Ferrell's younger brother, plays a real estate agent in this goofy Judd Apatow film
The All Together (2007) A homeowner shows his house to four real estate agents
The Blue Rose (2006) Joe Knight directed and starred in this movie as a real estate agent and small-time dealer
The Breakup (2006) Jason Bateman plays a real estate agent in one scene of this movie which starred Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn
The Haunted Mansion (2003) Eddie Murphy plays a real estate agent in this Disney movie
Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat (2003) from Disney to Seuss - Kelly Preston's plays an agent in this film
The Mothman Prophecies (2002) Joe Klein (Richard Gere) and his wife's (Debra Messing) real estate agent catch them doing the deed in the closet of the house they're buying
American Beauty (1999) everyone remembers Annette Bening's portrayal of an agent
Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) the classic real estate movie with a star studded cast that included Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, and Kevin Spacey
The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992) Julianne Moore is a real estate agent and mother who hires a maniac nanny
The Stepfather (1987) Terry O' Quinn plays a homicidal real estate agent
Poltergeist (1982) Craig T. Nelson's character is an agent
Welcome to L.A. (1976) Sally Kellerman played a lonely real estate agent
Nobody's Home (1955) Stanly Blystone plays a crooked real estate agent
Mr. Blanding Builds His Dream House (1948) the real estate agent in this Cary Grant / Myrna Loy classic was played by Ian Wolfe
So pop some corn, slip the DVD in -- that's several months worth of Fridays!
Have you see any of these? Can you think of any others?
