Two things I install on my PC first... even before Anti-Virus

A couple of nifty little programs that I love!

I'm sure that many of you use  this program, but there is absolutely no other utility that I install before Roboform . As a password manager, data protector and easy log in machine... there is just nothing that compares and it should be on almost everyones computer. I click MLS, it takes me to the site and logs me in, I click AR and it brings me to the site and logs me in. You can have a general password to protect the sites that you want to protect, and it does a great job of storing your personal information (credit cards too) in an encrypted file so that you need a password to access it.... indispensable for people that like to shop on line. They have a free version to check it out... but the paid version is well worth it.

I think that a clipboard utility is an excellent thing to have. I occasionally get a list of MLS #'s from clients (or addresses, that are formatted in such a way that I have to do a lot of serious cut and paste (or heaven forbid... typing!) to get the info from the MLS. With a clipboard utility like YCX (Yankee Clipper)  you can highlight - copy, highlight - copy, highlight - copy etc.. then when you get to the mls you click and paste, click and paste, click and paste. For those of us here that might want to use a couple of quotes.... you highlight - copy, highlight - copy and then they are available for you to use when you are ready. This one is an absolute must if you have some "boiler plate" text that you use regularly as well. Saves URLs, graphics etc... the free version is good but lacks some functionality

Two programs that just make things easier.

Dear Angus  Mooo Mooo

I use that program since long time ago, I mean roboform, but when I format or reformat my Notebook sometimes I do it in a while, I first install my Avast Pro antivirus, then I install the rest

Roboform it is a must for me, the only problem it is that I use different passwords and when I am in other computer, it is a pain in .....  to remember :)  I can not live without roboform.

Do you use by any chance snag it ? I have many softtware that I do not use,

Regards,

Ray Saenz

I love Robo Form.  Wish someone could tell me how to make it work with Firefox. Or is it Foxfire...whatever.

Kristal,

I do not think that there is a problem with firefox, I will let you know tomorrow, remember me    I was reading your post here

Hm... I use internet explorer, even when it is the one that has the most holes in the world :) LOL   , I will install firefox and then I will test it with roboform.

I use it with Firefox and with IE7. It usually senses that you have firefox installed and asks if you want that extension installed as well. The you right click on a toolbar somewhere in Firefox (next to help is a good place) and select RoboForm toolbar. If it shows up at the bottom of your screen that's set up in the options section of RoboForm.
