As I went for my usual morning hike with my dogs, I ran across a host of balloons from the "Great Reno Balloon Race". This is an annual event, but it demonstrates just one more reason I LOVE living and working in Northern Nevada.
The last photo shows a balloon landing on the street in front of my daughter's house. Gota Love it!!!
They look beautiful! I'd like to see the view from one of the gondolas!

Lots of balloons all those colors, looks like ReMax does stand out from the rest.
I just can't imagine what it would feel like to ride in one of those hot air balloons. I must be very tranquil and peaceful. What a way to see the countryside below! Thanks for showing us these pictures, Bobbi.
My husband bought me a hot air balloon ride for my birthday one year. What a thrill! It was the most unbelievable experience - and one more thing to check off on my bucket list.

Robert....that Remax Balloon is impressive, but I'm not sure that ANY other company wants to invest in that type of advertising. Balloooning is EXPENSIVE

Mary, It's a great place to live and to visit, come on up! (I say up because Reno sites at 5,000 feet above sea level, so not too many places qualify as "coming down to" Reno!!!
Bobbi, those are wonderful balloon pictures. I have been in the Re/Max balloon in Tulsa and it is a wonderful experience. Have fun!
