Springboro Real Estate Market

By
Real Estate Sales Representative with Coldwell Banker Heritage
Wow, sales are really happening here.  Homes that have been sitting for sale all winter long are now finally selling. There have been several banked owned propeties in our area and they do not last long on the market.  Homes have not been increasing in value as they did before 2006 but have not dropped in value,  In 2005, value of homes increased to about 10% per year and now we are just seeing a correction in that value this year.  New construction home sales are down and builders are not building as many.  In fact, this is the first year in a long time that Hoearama has been cancelled.   OUCH!

Mary,

Actually in Springboro from January to August home sales remained the same as last year this time at $90 Million. However Springboro actually sold more homes for the same money this year as the values have fallen. 2006 Jan. to Aug. 310 homes sold and 2007 Jan. to Aug. 330.  The bottom line is now is definitley a great time to buy.  High inventory and low interest rates mean buyers and seller will bode better than if it were a typical sellers market in the long run.  Either way 3% of $90 Million is 3% of 90 Million. What's also not disputable is that Coldwell Banker Heritage Realtors is still number one in units sold AND in revenue.
