Wow! We had over 40 agents come through! This was my best turnout. Ten different firms were represented. Positive feedback. Woo hoo.

Hey, Amy - I see your comment #3, and the turnout doesn't surprise me. I used to do similar things when I was a Realtor in Houston many decades ago. My co-workers made fun of me but seven years later I was still in business and they were all gone back to graduate school, or something. The more people who see the property, the greater the likelihood that someone will buy it. Even looky-loos from the neighborhood often result in a buyer because they'll mention the property to family and friends.

Thanks Russel! I always try to have good food at my open houses. Agents have so many available to see. I think the face to face time with other Realtors is beneficial. I was fortunate to have received an offer that morning. The agreement wasn't accepted until Saturday. Until it closes- I keep trying to sell the listing. I held the open house hoping to get addl interest & hopefully a backup offer!
