How Google Sees Your Website.

If you really want to know how Google sees your website and promotes it accordingly in its ranks, do not go to Alexa.com. These guys are so far from the truth you can't even imagine.

Do the following: Go to www.Dmoz.org, type your URL name into their search. If your website is not listed there ( and in most cases that will be the case), click on Google link on the very bottom of the page. It lists a number of search engines you can compare your SEO kung fu with.

You will get the whole picture what works in your website and what is not. All back links and your own SEO work will be listed there.

Wow, great information, from you too Jon.  How do you guys find all these things.  I am just lucky that I get an hour a day, MOST DAYS, to spend on Active Rain, more less find out about all the different sites to search.  Of course, I gotta say, I learn about most of them right here on Active Rain
