Wow. Now that's a postcard for you. What a sunrise to wake up to - just gorgeous.
Hello Mike, that is indeed a gorgeous sunrise. I love the morning air when out in a pine forest like that one. Thanks! John
Mike, Beautiful photo. Thanks for sharing it. I have an art background so pictures are the way my minds relates the best.
Mike, What an amazing photo. I'm not an early bird but would have to agree with Donald; getting up early would be worth it to see such a beautiful sunrise! Thanks for sharing it with us and all our best.
Mike, neat photo. I do like the colors... Helping you live your American Dream...
Hey, Mike. You never let us down. Great photo and thanks for sharing, Jim
Mike Obviously one of the more beautiful scenic spots in the country Karen
Now that is what I would call spectacular. The only problem I might have is getting up that early.
Thanks, Y'all! I really appreciate the very nice comments and encouragement. Early mornings are my favorite time of day, with the cool crisp air and the scents of the pine forest drifting on a slight morning breeze. Unfortunately, there are times that I just can't drag myself out of bed in time to see it! :-)
Nice hat, Michael!
Mike
Wow, amazing photo! I love Colorado and was born there. You must have been up early to get this shot, thanks for posting.
Mike ... Amazingly beautiful photo image Sunrise from Rocky Ridge Ranch in HDR. Is that close to Denver? Or Aspen? Thanks.
This is an incredible picture, so glad I pick this blog to check out... Thanks for the WOW!
Kevin & Monica - Thank you. It wasn't too terribly early - about 6:30 or so.
Harrison - We're not far from Denver, just about 7 miles SW of Sedalia, CO.
Thank you Caron.
Mike - That's an unbelievably mystical magical looking photo! Absolutely gorgeous!
Myrl, you are way too kind, but thank you. The "mystical magical" part comes from the software, Photomatix and Nik Color Efex.
What an awesome and inspiring photo. I know the real thing is even better...it must be breathtaking to see.
Sharon - Yeah, I have to admit that the mornings in particular can be pretty special! Thanks for the very nice comment.
Debi - You are so right! HDR can help us make images out of what used to be throw aways! :-)
Ahhh Mike now that's quite a beautiful shot. Just look at the sky simmering through those evergreens, those clouds lingering in that blue, blue sky, then those gorgeous rocks in the foreground! I still pick up rocks and put them in my pocket, the small ones that is ;)
