HVCC HR 3044 Gaining steam in Congress

The bill HR 3044 is gaining steam in Congress.  This bill aims at putting an 18 month moratorium on the HVCC.  The bill now has 86 co-sponsors.  The bill is in the House Committee on Financial Services.  Any idea of how many bills are currently in this committee?  A ton.  Click here to see.  The bill needs to get through the House before it can get back to Congress for a vote.  Most bills die in committee.  With 86 co-sponsors it is becoming less likely that that will happen to this bill.

We didn't hear as much about this one (at lest I didn't) but it would be a good idea. This is one I hope passes!

Matt, I think this will probably pass.  Not sure how it's going to impact us other than hopefully we'll have more qualified local appraisals do the jobs.

Matt - I am certainly hoping that this gets some legs and passes. However, I wish some additional language would be added that discusses looking at the impacts and determining how and what to fix. Otherwise, we will just have the same piece of crap come back and gum things up 18 months after the bill passes.
