Increasing web ranking with search engines, AKA SEO

By
Real Estate Agent with Foxhall Investments

As most of you are away blogging is probably the best way to drive traffic to your site and increase your ranking on the search engines like google or yahoo.

Other methods which I am familiar with include adjusting font size and placement of the key words you want to emphasize.  For instance if you are interested in getting high rankings as a "river north agent" you should have those words towards the top of your website and in big letters.

Repitition works to a certain extent but if you overdo it you will find that the search engines will penalize you, so be careful.

Anyone have any other helpful hints?

Best recommendation is to pay someone to manage that aspect of your site. Someone who goes to the conventions and listens to the Google speakers who share (to a limited extent) what they are looking for.

Ade HouseSearch engine issues can't be separated from the content of a website. Because of my background I'm able to handle the design and writing of my site myself (at least for now). My main website, GNAde.com currently holds about 30 to 40 positions on page one of Google, MSN and Yahoo combined. That's for search terms like Kirkland condo(s), relocate to Seattle, Seatte Eastside Homes, Redmond Condo, Washington State Real Estate Law, etc.
