This morning I got scolded by this little squirrel.  I have to admit that I enjoyed it.

Wow!  Now that's a great way to end the week.  How close did you actually get to this little guy?

Jane,  It was a great end for the week.  He scolded me for a few minutes so i went and got my camera. I actually crawled forward on my stomach (like in the Army) until I got about 4 or 5 feet away.  I stayed there about 15 minutes toget a couple of photos that I liked. Thank you for your comment.

Jason,  They really are territorial and cute.  I've been watching for this little guy for a couple of weeks and finally got a chance for these photos.  Thanks for your comment.

Gary:  Now that's dedication to crawl and wait it out for 15 minutes!  Your perseverance definitely paid off with these photos.  Nice job!

Gary, We used to have a squirrel that would eat the apples from our tree and when we tried to chase him away, he'd drop the apple cores on us!  They are fierce little guys, aren't they?

Donna,  Thank you.  After missing him over and over, I decided that I had to make the most of this opportunity.   And I'm glad that I did.

Kate,  It is amazing how fierce they can act -- especially since they are so small.  That is interesting about the one that dropped apple cores on you.  Thanks for commenting.

Georgina,  Thank you.  I didn't realize how fast they move and the action shot is one of my personal favorites.  This particular squirrel has been scolding me off and on for most of the summer.  And to my surprise, when I got down on my hands and knees and then stomach, he stopped scolding and started watching me.  Then he started racing around the pile of lumber almost playing some type of peek a boo game.
