The two best investments you will ever make in the growth of your real estate practice are technology and training. Our ability to handle technology from PC to MAC to Blackberries to Websites to HTML code etc. range from how do I turn this thing on to building your own computer and inventing a new kind of virtual reality. If your like me your somewhere beyond how do I turn this thing on but way behind inventing a new code that will revolutionize the web as we know it. But keep this in mind what you don’t know about technology can hurt you.  Achieving your goals may rest on nothing more or less then how well you understand and use today’s technology. The days are long gone when we had the luxury of saying I don’t need it I’ll just stick with my Rolodex, day planner and index cards and pencils. It is worth it to take the time, regardless of how difficult it may be for you, to continue to learn more about your computer and to develop your technical abilities. It may be slow and painful but it’s worth it. Take some time each week to increase your knowledge of technology. It will pay big dividends.
Even if you can pay someone to do it for you, its better that you do it yourself if you can. Not only can it save you thousands, even tens of thousands of dollars, but the more you know the more independent you become. And if you’re like me, independence is a very important aspect of happiness.
