Yesterday, Pat and I decided that we had to see the Aspen tree leaves changing - time was running out. We needed to see some real estate in the mountains. We had planned on going on Sunday, but that didn't quite work out. We were a tad surprised as to what we saw. My daughter had gone on Saturday - lucky dogs - and took some pictures.  I have to show them! But because we went on Monday, look at what was happening at Red Feather Lakes (close to Wyoming). I understand that Conifer actually had several inches.  How fun.

Thank you so much for sharing something we do not see back east in most places this time of year.

I would drive up to Conifer and Bailey if I were you. Flying J Ranch is an excellent place to go andhike. If you are further north, drive up to Red Feather Lakes.  Both places are beautiful and have several parks. Hope this helps.
