Oh I love those trees Dawn. We have a 12 mile road, a 5 mile creek and and 12 mile creek. I like the idea of roads in the country defined by "how many miles" they are down the road!

Those trees are very beautiful! I couldn't resist taking many photos of that piece of property. I agree, there is something special about roads that have maintained their practical names that were given to them long ago. I think that the area has maintained many of its old road names despite all of the growth that it has experienced. That road runs along the Ohio River on one end, and on the other, it has a large mall, countless strip malls, and restaurants galore. There is a good mix of country and suburb.
