Breaking news.... okay, I'm kidding, not really, it is breaking news....

According to READ WRITE WEB there's a new pesky Twitter phishing scheme going on.  Personally, the word FISHING is spelled FISHING not phishing, who thought of that anyway. Some person from PHRANCE or some guy having some PHUN.

Speaking of that, a PHRENCH PHRY sounds great right now.  Anyway...

Here's the story:

A lot of Twitter users are currently getting this direct message: "rofl this you on here?" and a URL. It's the latest in a series of phishing scams that have been making the rounds on Twitter lately. The link in this message will take you to a Twitter login page that looks almost like the real thing but is actually just a way for the phishers to harvest your login credentials. Once the scammers have access to your account, they will send out more of these messages to your friends.

See the whole article here.

Now wasn't this a phunny article to read?

Stacy - I have little use for "creeps" who stay awake at night developing schemes to beat the system. I'd love it if someone could develop a system where we could send a jolt of electricity back to those offending computers and blow them up!  Perhaps not quite legal, but certainly fun.

If you take an extra few seconds, you can often tell (feel) that something isn't quite right.

My husband often has said that criminals take so much time putting together a crime that if they took their evil intentions and put them into something good, the world would be better off.

Oh yea, I got hit yesterday, what a headache. I do mean that literally too.

My account was one they hacked and sent out DM's. I spent ALL night trying to get Tweet Deck back up and the DM's deleted.

I"ve been so frustrated haven't logged on Twitter all day.
