The most unique ActiveRain referral so far?

I was pleased to have my second ActiveRain referral come through yesterday, but this one was quite unique.

I got a call from Lenn Harley in Virginia yesterday interviewing me prior to having me take a lead for her.  She mentioned she found me on ActiveRain.  I didn't think much about it until she told me the person contacted her from Boise via one of her blogs and asked if she could refer him to a local agent in Boise familiar with VA Compromise Sales.

I contacted him, did a CMA for him and will be listing his home tomorrow.  I have never met the seller in person, never been inside his home, and yet the listing is already completed (subject to verification in person), flyers are built (thanks to him emailing me the photos) and we are ready to get this sold for him.

For all of my competitors who think Social Networking and the internet is not effective, you are right!  Keep thinking that way while I let the ink dry on this contract!

First day on the MLS and I have already had 44 agents and 49 clients preview this listing.  I hope we can get it sold quickly so Lenn can get her referral fee and this vet can move forward with his life.
