Kiosk, lead generation, Victorville Mall

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSource Lamareaux Residential Realty

When I was Studying for my license, one of the more obscure things in the study matter  was a Kiosk. Little did I know that a year later I would work with Exit Desert Ocean Realty and that one of my greatest lead generation machines would be a Kiosk.

Exit Desert Ocean has an exclusive kiosk at Victorville Mall. We are right outside of Barnes and Nobles where there is a Starbucks. On any given day the traffice count ranges between 20,000 and 30,000 people who come to the mall and walk by the Exit Kiosk.

Now that it is close to summer time, I like the mall because I am out of the sun. Most people who come to the mall don't mind talking with a Realtor party because the atmosphere of the mall is disarming.

As A form of lead generation, a kiosk is a passive form. I am still waiting for people to come to me. However of all the passive forms of lead generation, this one promises to be the best return. Better than a farm, a letter campiagn, a flyer, or any usual print format. it is for one simple reason. I am actually talking with people, lots of people. In lead generation when I get to talk with another person, that is really good.

Our office has about 120 agents, Currently I am about number 6 because of the sales that I have generated from the mall.

Hello Cathy, that is a great idea. How long have you been doing the kiosk idea and can other offices do the same? Anyhow great post. Thanks for sharing. - Ralph Jorge
