I have been working with so many banks on short sales and foreclosures this year that I would like to share a few insights.
- Banks do not want to keep inventory
- Banks are just like other sellers and are willing to negotiate
- banks do not usually take as long to respond as they did before the beginning of this year.
If you are a prospective buyer - first time or investor - you need to move on the foreclosures immediately - this means that as soon as I send you that email stating that a new foreclosure listing is on the market, you had better be ready to go look at it.
banks do not want to keep so much inventory on the books. They are looking for offers quickly and they are responding quickly, with some exceptions. We can get into those later.
I have the ability to send you a website for your own searches. Just follow this link and put portal in as the user name and reo1 as the password to see what I can do to help you find the foreclosures.
