Sonoran Property Inspections went to the Inspection Stimulus Conference in Las Vegas this past weekend and learned some very interesting things. I think that Infra Red Inspections will certainly become a large part of the future of home inspections and provide the buyers another way to get valuable information on their new home. The home inspection industry is starting to embrace this and I think it is gathering steam pretty rapidly. The technology is expensive but like most technology is coming down on price pretty quickly. The typical camera that is $5000 today was about $8000 a few years ago.
We will look hard at adding this to our services and might even add it as a stand alone company but will need to investigate considerably more before we proceed. More to come on this later!
We also saw first hand that in Las Vegas the word recession hasn't really hit. The tables and slots were packed and people were spending money like drunken sailors as far as I could see.
