Sunrise over New Milford, CT. The past two mornings I grabbed my camera and took a walk with the pooch. The sunrises were wonderful! Yesterday the sun coming up lit the trees across the street, what a display. This morning the red skies were just breathtaking! I just love fall in New England.
Please enjoy my slide show of my sunrises over New Milford, CT, Friday's Fall Fotos!
Andrea the shots are beautiful, but the changing of colors is a little sobering, more work ahead. I pleasantly watched the sun come up on a fairway mower ;o)
Oh Andrea, I LOVE Connecticut in the fall! It really makes me miss home. Our leaves in MD are starting to change, but I'm from West Hartford, and at the Reservoir, when you hike up the mountain, the sea of gorgeous colors is unmatchable!!! THANK YOU for sharing your slide show. Feels like home! :-)
Ahh, I remember those colors when I lived right across the pond from you.
Now that I'm down here, I'll have to wait another month or two!
But thanks for the reminder of how beautiful it is there this time of year!
Hi Ed, well, aren't you the lucky one! I just love this time of year.
Marney, glad I could help bring back some memories. West Hartford is beautiful enough, but I live in the BEST part of CT, LOL. Thank you!
Craig, I will wait to see YOUR photos! It is beautiful here ANY time of year! :P
Hi Andrea..How beautiful..The trees here have not started to change colors yet..It is so nice to get a preview..and what a preview..Thank you

Hello Andrea: those indeed are gorgeous sites to behold, morning time in the Autumn season. I enjoyed them! John
Hi Andrea ~ The weather's been beautiful - so many beautiful blue sky days. Those shots are mesmerizing. And love the sneak peek of your office!!
Liz
Beautiful photos. The leaves are getting a head start this year. Soon we'll be raking up all those leaves :(
Nice, nice pictures - Andrea! I think Fall arrives in your area a tad earlier than it does in Sacramento. However, I expect our leaves to begin turning in a week or so.
Absolutely beautiful! I just love the sunrise, just not being awake that early...LOL
Sincerely,
Kathleen
Andrea, those were beautiful pictures, thanks for posting them, because the only thing that I see at sunrise is the inside of my eye lids :) :)
Impossible to put in words. Great pics. Simply can't beat the beauty of nature.
Hello Hannah, you will be soon I am sure. Thank you!
Matt, well thank you! You are seeing just the same I know. :D
Good morning John, I thank you! I love this time of year, I did not have this wonderful camera last year, and am excited about the photo ops that are coming up, LOL.
Liz, LOL, I had to take a picture that did NOT include my messy desk, LOL. And thank you, I know you are seeing beautiful fall foliage too!
Jim, LOL, put those girls to work, what can I say. We have a sweeper that pulls behind the tractor. Thank you!
Karen, come on over! I expect more photos, so look for them. Thank you!
Myrl, we are a bit early this year, but not in full color mode yet, so there are a few weeks to come. I love love love fall! Thank you!
Kathleen, I am an early riser, I have always loved the quiet of the morning. I can also be a late nite person, but because I can't sleep in, it really doesn't work, LOL. Thank you!
George, LOL, as I always say, I was checking my eyelids for holes! Thank you so much, I expect to see some from you too!
Steve, thank you so much! Nature is hard to beat for sure, I am always blown away even with the scenes I see over and over again.
Andrea, these are such beautiful photos! I never get up in time to shoot the sunrise. I guess that's a good thing about having cows!
Andrea,
Absolutely spectacular shots. The settings, the sunrise, the colors, the leaves. Very nice. :)
Steve
Pat, it is the dog who gets me up, LOL. The cows are not here, well, there are cows here but they belong to someone else. Very confusing. So just suffice it to say, it is all Duncans fault.
Debra, thank you! I am blessed, the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular from here.
Steve, Why thank you! I hope to get more, but not for the next few days as we have rain in the forecast.
Those are quite beautiful! And every morning? I'm never up early enough to see sunrises. We have our best sunsets after wildfires. Why there has to be destruction followed by beauty has never made sense to me.
