Oktoberfest - October 11 - Noon to 4 pm
Festival goers can enjoy authentic Bavarian food and beer and lively performances
by the Alte Kameraden German Band and Alt-Washingtonia Bavarian dancers.
Lederhosen and dirndls are optional as Alt-Washingtonia instructs and encourages
participation in some of their dances. New this year will be a juried Fine Arts and
Crafts Show, held indoors at the adjacent Kentlands Mansion. The show features
one-of-a kind, high quality paintings, photographs, jewelry and more, all available for
purchase. Hourly door prizes donated by the artists will also be awarded.
Free performances on the Arts Barn Theater stage will include a variety of local
dance and singing groups. Kids will also enjoy a full day of pony rides, moon bounce,
face painting, art projects, and many other activities. Please note that there will be a
fee for some activities. Admission and parking are free. Free wheelchair accessible
shuttle service will be available from the GXS Building at 100 Edison Park Drive, near
the intersection of Main Street and Route 28, and will run regularly during festival
