I always wondered what those that are against torture of terrorists thought the folks in the buildings or on the planes on 9/11 thougth and went through?
Can you imagine being in a burning building, knowing you are going to be burned alive, making the last phone call to your family to tell them just one last time that you love them? Did those folks experience terror?
Having worked in those buildings that came down I lost friends. I know of a few wives and one husband who received those calls. The terror in their voices will haunt my friends all their days. Did they deserve that? NO, they did nothing.
What about the folks on the planes? The early ones who had no clue as to what was going on. My aunt and uncle were on that first plane. Flying back to CA after celebrating their anniversary on the Cape. Do you think they experience terror? Or Flt 93. They knew they were going to die but did all they could to stave off more deaths and destruction on the ground. Do you think they experienced terror? And was that torture?
My guess is all these slimy bastards know that the liberals are so fond of prosecuting anyone who treats them poorly would welcome the bathing "torture". They can sue, they can be let go scot-free to plan another day.
Who was tortured? The innocent victims or those that are still planning attacks on American soil?
